With the invention of mobile phones smartphones design has become quite extraordinary and quite amazing.
With the bezel and bezel-less design taking ground in recent times, through smartphones companies like Essential, iPhone, Vivi, Samsung e.t.c.

NOTCH DESIGN
I personally started to take note of the trends of smartphones design when the iPhone X was launched by the Apple Comp.

What made the iPhone X seem particularly different, was the addition of the Notch screen.
The Notch is a smartphone design that requires the top of a Bezel Smartphone to be designed in such a way that the only remaining part of the top bezel was the section that contained the Front Camera and the Front Ear Piece or Speaker, which is located at the middle.
The truth be told, the Apple company wasn't the first to create the Notch design,
But because of its brand worldwide, the Notch design was generally regarded to iPhone X invention, even though this is not true.

To me it's all about branding Apple has always has a bigger brand than most smartphones companies.
To the extent that even some Android phone Company started to follow suit the smartphone design trend that iPhone has Popular.
Some even went in to copy their screen saver look just to make sure they give their users the iPhone X feeling.
BEZEL-LESS DESIGN

Like Vivo introducing the World's first Bezel-less Smartphone with 84% aspect ratio.
At first when I heard of this I was like, where will the front camera be? Where will the basic control which is usually located at the bottom be?
But vivo really surprised me personally,
They actually created a camera Pop up Which will pop out from the top of the smartphone in a few seconds.

I personally was astonished by the extent of this particular smartphone design.
A lot of people didn't even know if a Smartphone Company called VIVO even exist, not to talk of according their Inventory to them.
EDGE DESIGN
No doubts about the edge design as it is very common today in most smartphones and a Dominant design.
No doubts I will give Samsung a High Five on this one, they really tried.
Well the first time I saw the edge smartphone design, I was indeed amazed at the concept behind it.
Although the edge design still contains the bezel, it didn't stop it from having a great look, and other companies from copying the design which Samsung has introduced.
Like most of us know, Samsung was the First smartphone company to come up with such smartphone design idea.
And because it was a sleek design, major company followed suit.
Companies like: Sony, Huawei, Nokia e.t c.
