If you are reading or viewing this page, it means that you Want to know what Tech Myth or lie you believe that are not actually true.

Well today on Apex Tech Geek (ATG), I'm going to be revealing top tech Myth we should stop believing in 2019.
There a lot of Tech Myth that we as Phones and PC users believe, but they are not entirely true, like the Mega Pixel of our smartphone Camera,
The Refreshing of your Desktop computer,
The Incognito Browsing Mode ,
And the Cell phone or Network Bar believe.

Sometimes what we have been thinking about them are not entirely true.

So without wasting time, let's Get down to the list of
Top Tech Myth we Should not Believe in 2019.

INCOGNITO MODE

Most smartphone and PC users, have this believe that browsing in incognito mode makes you anonymous to your internet service provider (ISP).
Well this is a technology Myth that you need to stop believing in 2019.
The main purpose of the incognito mode in your web browser is to make sure that your web history is not saved during your browsing session.
Well to cut the long story short, the incognito mode on your device is to make sure that you are anonymous to your phone browser history.

CELL PHONE NETWORK BAR

This particular Tech Myth is very common among Smartphone users,
They tend to believe that the higher or the more the network bar, it means more network speed. This maybe True, but it is not always true.
All the network bar is trying to tell us is how close or far we are from a cell Tower, or how much traffic a cell tower is connecting at a particular time.
Most time we tend to experience network failure or slow network service, while the network bar is full, this simply means that too many people are connected to a particular tower at the same time, there by causing a slow traffic rate for their service users. This is the reason for fast network service at night because only few people are connecting or connected to a cell phone or Network tower
and also a bad network service may indicate that you are far from a cellphone or network tower. This problem can easily be identified by user as the particular problem is common in rural areas and deserted locations.

THE REFRESH COMMAND ON YOUR PC

Even my times of learning a particular Software i always taught that the refresh click on your windows or PC will make the system carry out commands faster.

My boss and every computer operators around me always carry out the refresh click whenever their PC is hanging, or rather slow in processing Data.
until I also got to know that the refresh click is just to make the PC carry out unexecuted command
i.e when you perform an action on your system like Copying and Pasting, and you are unable to find the document in the destination Folder, just go to the folder and Refresh that particular Document, and Boom your document automatically appears.
Now this Myth has been cleared.

THE CAMERA MYTH

This particular Tech Myth is a very common believe among Smartphone phone (android) Users, I was even a Victim.
I initially had this believe that the higher the Mega Pixel (MP) of my camera, the better and clearer the image quality.
sorry to prove you wrong, but this Tech Myth is a Lie, that is why it is called a Tech Myth.
The quality display of a camera doesn't basically depend on the Mega Pixel of the camera, but there are other physical features to make sure that you have a good photo.
E.g Good Lighting, The Focal Length of the Camera, the amount of light that passes through the Lense of the Camera e.t.c.
all what the Mega Pixel stand for is that the image captured will have a higher image quality during Printing, so as to make sure that the image is not scattered during enlargement in the Printing or Editing Process ( Photoshop users and Graphics Designer will understand Better).
